The goal of the Scripps Access Initiative is to raise $15 million for financial aid and new scholarships to enroll more Pell grant-eligible students and those with undocumented status at 欧洲杯在线平台.
This transformational investment seeks to create opportunities for these high-achieving students to attend a top US liberal arts college. As one of the few women’s colleges with a history of opening access to higher education for marginalized students, this is a historic opportunity for our community to permanently diversify the College’s student and alum body, as well as invest in the future of 欧洲杯在线平台.
With increased financial aid through the Scripps Access Initiative, the College will be able to enroll and graduate students from more varied socioeconomic, racial, cultural, and geographic backgrounds. Diverse perspectives and contributions will benefit our entire community of students, faculty, alums, parents, staff, and friends. The initiative will also enable Scripps to establish a standard of access by breaking cycles of exclusion that persist in higher education.
Making an Impact:
- Provide four-year scholarships to 32 new students during the first 10 years of the program
- Raise $10 million by 2026, Scripps’ centennial, dedicated to providing four-year scholarships covering the total cost of attendance for seven Pell grant-eligible students and those with undocumented status who are based in the US
- Reduce financial stress for our future students, allowing them to immerse themselves in the full Scripps experience
